Born and raised in greater Portland, Maine, I have explored living elsewhere (and highly recommend visiting Seattle to everyone!). I decided to move back because friends and family taught me that Maine is my home.

I’ve always been passionate about massage, dating back to my last year in high school, when I used my serving job tips for them! While studying psychology at USM, a coworker invited me along to her massage school orientation because she knew I was intrigued by being an LMT. Immediately, I enrolled and underwent a 900-hour certification program at Seacoast Career Schools, graduating in 2007. I received extensive training in a variety of techniques, including Swedish and deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, hot stone, pregnancy massage, and energy work. My studies of anatomy, physiology and kinesiology help guide me to various combinations of modalities that best suit the client’s wants and needs.

After graduating, I worked for over 4 years at a local day spa, acquiring a certification in Ashiatsu massage in 2009. I then began mobile massage while also working in the food and beverage industry. I have continued my education to learn additional therapeutics, including positional release for trigger points and cupping massage.

My journey brought me to the lovely city of Seattle for over 3 years. In 2020 when the pandemic hit, I had already decided to move back to Maine, and it expedited the move quickly. I knew that I wanted to open my own practice and bring my approach of massage therapy to clients again. Returning to former clients has been so inspiring; the professional relationships with clients built over the years are so positive!

When not practicing massage, you might find me hanging out by the water somewhere, spending time with friends, family, walking and playing with my neighbor’s pup, practicing yoga, re-watching The Big Bang Theory, or just turning up the tunes and dancing “silly style” around my home.
